to the newly bald John Maine, who turned 26 today. he's been pitching magnificently this season, after pitching magnificently in the post-season last year. though I more emotionally identify with Oliver Perez's highs and lows, Maine has been a consistent pleasure to watch on the mound.
may he live to 100 as though he were 20.
