that's my mother-in-law's word for superstition, and for the most part I agree with the characterization. I've never had a special article of clothing to wear for games or anything, never really indulged the idea that anything I do has any impact on what happens on the field in any way. never the less, I find myself reluctant to begin composing a game day post while the game is still being played.
