now that's Mets baseball

Game 27: Mets 9, Diamondbacks 3
17-10 for the season

Damion Easley hit a 3-run homer.
David Wright hit a 3-run homer.
my father believes that Easley has the ability to hit a home run whenever the special time when he's "supposed to" happens.

I'm working extremely hard not to believe him.

More to come.

You mis-state my position. I certainly do NOT believe that Easley, or anyone since Babe Ruth, hits home runs at will. Rather, I don't understand why everyone gets so excited because a man does his job. A week ago against Washington, and last night against Arizona, Easley did what he was supposed to do; there's no good reason for you or Gary Cohen to get so hysterical about it. Do people get all vishimmelt when Sari says a prayer, Kevin schedules a flight, or Jake does whatever it is he's supposed to do for a living?

Easley's job, then, is always to hit homers?
